Our process sets you up for success
Initial Contact
Working with new clients generally begins with several phone calls and emails that serve to allow a client a fair opportunity to communicate his or her vision with our team. From these conversations, we are able to venture into a rough budget in which the range of cost varies depending on the magnitude and size of the project. This cost range includes any projected expenses that will be allocated towards Pre Construction Planning.
The purpose for us sharing this range in price is to communicate any possible range in costs that a homeowner may be looking at spending on their project. We value your time and money, and want to set proper expectations before utilizing either of those resources.
Pre-Construction
Once a rough budget has been established, we are able to officially step into Pre-Construction Planning.
From here, we are able to sort through official designs, plans, material selections, scopes of work, labor expenses, and town permitting requirements. All of this information is gathered in order for us to dial in on an official budget and payment schedule for the project.
General Costs for PreCon are between 1.5% and 10% of a project's total cost. This range is due to differences in moving pieces and coordination involved with individual projects.
Our Pre-Construction process does not bind you to working with us for your project. It is a separate process that is set in place to paint a clear and concise map and budget for your project ahead.
You can learn more about Pre-Construction, and what that process entails, by reading our blog post, titled "Cohesive & Transparent Pre-Construction."
Construction
Once a project is properly mapped out and budgeted, we then move on to ordering materials, scheduling labor, and breaking ground. We simplify this phase by utilizing JobTread- our project management portal.
JobTread allows clients to receive and reference any information regarding their project at any time. This includes things like contracts, designs, material selections, messages, to-do lists, change orders, and daily logs/updates. Every week, clients receive an email that summarizes any progress that has taken place in the field and also behind the scenes.
During the construction phase, we aim to keep clients completely up-to-speed on their project. We understand that people are placing trust in working with us, and we aim to maintain that trust with outstanding communication throughout the entirety of every project.
