I dont normally write reviews as I rarely have the time but these guys are so worth it. We had 8 contractors come out to look at our basement over the last year plus and take pictures and measurements and then we would never hear from them again. It was super frustrating and I was starting to lose hope that our basement would ever get renovated. Literally within minutes of submitting an inquiry on their site Ricky called me and scheduled a time to come have a look. He was so courteous and personable upon our first meeting. Within a few days he had the estimate to me and then once we signed the agreement with him we started looking at start times. Not once did I feel like he was difficult to get ahold of which was such a change from our previous experiences. He has always been prompt to respond and does exactly as he says he will. Mike was here for most of the basement reno and we could not have enjoyed having him more. He was polite and professional and even my two year old got excited to see him everyday. These guys are really the best. Our basement turned out better than I could have expected and even with some changes along the way I could not be happier with the result. I am so excited to have these guys here again soon to do our bathrooms and kitchen and deck. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Rick is easy to work with, and very professional. He takes pride in his work and is a talented finish carpenter and builder. We plan on using Rick and his crew for servers other projects on our 1886 Colonial Home restoration/renovation.

Cranland Carpentry is an excellent company to work with. We recently used the company extend our bedroom closet and final product was everything we hoped for. Rick was quick and responsive to all of my wife's questions during the planning process and was able to start the job sooner than originally anticipated (which was great to get the job done early in the summer). When doing the actual project Rick and Mike were on time each day and exceptionally prepared. Setting up a makeshift work area in the front yard, I was impressed that they had a pop-up tent ready to put up in case of rain, and of course it was pouring out all afternoon. That did not stop or slow them down at all, as they continued to work through the elements, and managed to finish the job without making a mess of my house despite all of the mud. Rick's attention to detail became obvious as he explained to me the inevitable difficulties that came up with the project, and how he was dealing with each situation to produce the best quality product possible. He clearly takes great pride in his work and values what is most important about a job, and that is making sure the customer is completely satisfied. We are planning to use Cranland Carpentry again in the near future.

We are thrilled with our new pool screen house rebuilt by Cranland! Rick does excellent work, and had great ideas and solutions for our project. He was professional in communicating with us from beginning to end and the whole project was completed timely.

I have a rental property in Hanover Massachusetts, but I live in San Jose California, so it's very hard to find professional craftsmen when you need a house repair long distance.

I found Richard from Cranland Carpentry on Google, and I asked him to look into a list of repairs needed at my house, including replacing corner boards and fascia, replacing windows, repairing rotted garage door weather stripping, pressure washing and having a vent put in behind my stove to exhaust the fumes from cooking. Richard jumped in right away and started giving me suggestions for the windows, and while he didn't do the pressure washing or the exhaust behind the stove, he found other workers in the area that did those other tasks as their specialties. He basically worked as a general contractor making sure everything got done in a timely manner.

My tenant was so impressed with Richard that he recommended him to some of his clients for work that they needed to have done. Anyway, after the initial jobs were completed the tenant asked if we could replace one more window which Richard did, all the windows look terrific. After each job was completed, Richard sent me pictures and called me and explained what he had done. He always provided quotes beforehand and the jobs came in at quote or under quote. Finally, I was having a problem with water going into my garage and we brainstormed on ways to fix the issue. Richard found a person who specialized in driveway repair and fixed the last 12 feet of the driveway. That job was also done perfectly. I'm going to have my roof replaced in the next few years, and I will use Richard at Cranland Carpentry for that work and for any other work I have in the future. Cranland Carpentry is awesome, and Richard is a very conscientious, meticulous, expert Carpenter whom I would highly recommend without reservation.

These guys were amazing! Quality work and communication throughout. They put up a coffered ceiling in my dining room in just 3 days. Very respectful, and hard working. I am having them come back to do my office next. Just can't say enough positive things about the entire experience!

I had Cranland Carpentry come out to give me an estimate on getting an entire wall done with shiplap. Price was great so we decided to go ahead expecting to have it done in a week or so. Rick said he'd be there next day. He was there first thing in the morning and done before I was home from work. Came out great. Can't be happier with the work and the service was incredible. Will be referring Cranland Carpentry for sure and will most definitely be using them in the future!

Ricky was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! I am a part of a HOA and completing projects like this can be a headache because of all the requirements, but Ricky made it a breeze! Every email communication was quick and we were able to get approved by the HOA and permitted through the town without any stress on my end. Once the work began, Ricky and Smitty completed the job quickly and everything came out exactly as I pictured! They even went above and beyond to build a dividing wall to direct water flow away from the house. I am so happy with their work and will definitely be using them again next year to reconstruct the rest of the deck!

Cranland Carpentry exceeded my expectations! They did a siding and deck remodel on my house. I chose them because because of their affordability and they were currently doing work for a friend who highly recommended them. Ricky's communication throughout the whole project was outstanding and he made sure everything they did was up to my standards. They were clean and neat, keeping dust to a minimum. They really understood that we wanted to make the new parts of almost 100 YO house have a connection to the old character.
